Cute outfits

While at the baby store yesterday I became a sucker for an adorable outfit. I've been very good about not buying any clothing items! In fact, I've only bought one! Well, now two. The first was a $4.00 onesie that says "Shhh... I'm downloading." If you know Jason, you know why I bought this. To add to this, I bought a "Dinosaur fleece" last night. It's the outfit in the middle with soft primary colors and an adorable dinosaur hood and not showing is a tail on the back. I packed Josh's bags this weekend and realized he didn't have anything that warm, so in a way he needed it. I told some teachers today at work, Dallas and Travis, and they joked that people are going to question, "So, did the baby come from the hospital or the zoo?" Har, har... I don't think Josh will be traumatized by the outfit needless to say.

In case you are wondering about the other two outfits, hmmm... well the next important one would be the "Peek-a-boo Gamecock" and then I guess, the "Clemson outfit" which my neighbors found and bought last night. I couldn't believe it! All in all, whatever your opinion may be, let's just say the Dinosaur one is the cutest!

The chair.

We've done a great job to save money in different ways for preparing for Josh's arrival. Family and friends have been very generous for providing for Josh from clothes to diapers to beautiful handmade items and more. We got Josh's crib and changing table from a woman in Buckhead who posted the items for sale on craiglist (I'm a huge fan now! Check it out sometime if you haven't). Then, just yesterday we got the chair.

From the beginning, this has been a big item that I have searched long and hard over, weighing the options and expenses for a glider, a recliner, or just a plain rocking chair. Just before Christmas, Jason and I made a visit to New Baby Products in Snellville and our decision was made- we found the chair. It was soft and lush, had enough head support (a big factor for me!), and just overall the super-duper comfortable. Jason agreed as well. So, we ordered the chair and was told it would be ready on Feb. 12th. Great, but not so great... My due date, if you remember, is Feb. 11th! So, I just got over the fact that I would have to wait and be patient for this item to come in. I expected it would arrive when Josh arrives, if not later. However, the chair came in last Friday and just yesterday my wonderful neighbors, Stephanie and Scotlon, helped us pick it up. Sorry you can't all try it out, but here are some pictures of it.

Josh's Carseat and Stroller...

We got these a few weeks ago, set them up, and are ready to go. This was the last BIG item we needed before Josh arrives. No, we don't plan on getting Gentoo one too; just wanted to try it out on him though. He prefers walking on his own!
Next on our list is packing our bags for the hospital. Off to visit the pediatrician today...

Belly shots

Belly at 16, 18, and 31 weeks

My Wombmate

I am currently 37.5 weeks pregnant and enjoying my wombmate, Joshua Derrick Vinson. His due date to this new world is Febuary 11th though I have a feeling that he may be arriving late. They say this is common for first time moms and based on our calculations he's due Feb. 20th. We'll just have to wait and see; only God knows when he's to arrive! Jason and I are very excited to meet our son face-to-face any day now. We look forward to seeing, touching, hearing, and smelling Josh outside of his womb.

Since I've been pregnant I've been asked those common pregnancy questions- How big are you? How are you feeling? How much do you weigh? and What do you look like? Well, I'm happy to say pregnancy has been great! All in all, I have felt well and still look normal! So to all those wondering, I'm including some photos to answer those questions. The first one here is me, Josh, and Gentoo from two weeks ago.
