Prayer request
Please pray for healing for our son Joshua. He has had a temperature for the past five days. It comes and goes. We took him to the doctor Sunday night and they diagnosed him with a dual ear infection and possibly pneumonia after doing a chest x-ray. For those of you that have been around Josh, you know he has a great demeanor. Well, not so much right now. It hurts for him to cough, not to mention how awful it sounds. He doesn't want to take a bottle or eat as much as usual; fortunately his weight isn't an issue so he should be okay. We just want him to feel better and to enjoy visiting his family and friends over the holidays.
Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving and many more!

Exploring
Josh has been on the move for quiet some time now. He loves to climb over Mommy and Daddy, crawl after Gentoo (a great moving object), pull up to his knees, and for the first time this morning he climbed inside of this stool. It was great entertainment for him for about 20 minutes, then he was ready to get out and couldn't exactly get down and under or up and over.

A Morning Blessing
We headed off to the doctor to confirm some news we were wondering about this morning and .... I AM PREGNANT! I had an ultrasound done and they estimate that the baby will be due on June 6th, 2008 which will put Josh and his new brother or sister about 16 months apart. Whew- it will be fun! Just wanted to share the news. We are all doing well, and as far as I can tell, Josh is excited too : )

Getting cold...
This morning Josh decided to wake up really early. Since the whole day started sooner, that meant we had to go on our walk sooner, and boy was it cold outside. I think that's what Josh was really looking forward too! Here's a picture of him bundled up in his cute sweater that Mary Busman gave him (Thanks!).
Things that happen in the crib
This past Saturday I put Josh down for his regular afternoon nap. He's great about going down for his morning nap, but will sometimes fight the afternoon one for a bit. So I laid him down, left the room, and moaned and fussed. He was not happy, but what do you do? If I go in there, that will make matters worse because he will see me and be ready to get up and play. So, Jason and I somewhat patiently waited and waited for Josh to go to sleep. I thought, "he is especially fussy. I hope he's okay." After about a half an hour passed, he finally succumbed and went to sleep. Then we sneaked upstairs and checked on him. When we did, this is what we saw...

My Favorite Pumpkin
Our Birthday!
The weekend before Oct. 3rd, we went to Columbia to celebrate our (being my Mom and I) birthday! On Saturday, Josh got to go tailgating for the first time. We had a great time with the Goode's and Josh happily feel asleep and snoozed through the eating. (No photos. Sorry, I forgot the camera, urgh.) The next day, we got to catch up with family.
