On July 22, 2007 we had the opportunity to become members at our new church as well as celebrate the baptism of our son, Joshua Derrick Vinson. It was a wonderful weekend spent with our immediate family- my mother, my Dad and Stepmother Erika, my brother, and Jason's parents. We enjoyed great conversations, great food, and great times.
Here's my Mom, Bebe after putting Josh to sleep in this position. Crazy- huh?

Trying some cake? No, not really. We haven't started solids yet and cake won't be the first!
Below are some pictures taken at the church. For those of you wondering what Josh is wearing, it is a Hanes family heirloom that I was baptized in as well as many other Hanes'. So, this was a must for him too wear. It's a good thing we didn't wait any longer because Josh could barely fit in the gown. The challenge was getting the sleeves up far enough over his chubby arms. The gown could use some elastic in the sleeves, but oh well, it's from the 1890s I believe and that wasn't as common place as now.
So poised and calm. Praise be to God!
Back at home we took at photo of him in our family cradle.
To me, this last photo says it all right through his eyes and his look- Thanks for loving me.
